Hello! Welcome to generationevolution. I’m Rebecca Shin, a Boston-based marketing, strategy and research professional with over two decades of experience helping both corporate and nonprofit organizations resonate more deeply with their audiences. My experience spans strategic marketing, digital marketing, behavioral insights, communications and business strategy.
Throughout my global career I have developed a deep understanding of the motivations and needs of emerging market segments such as Generation Z, Millennials, Baby Boomers, Hispanic consumers and others. I believe the generational shifts in behavior and values currently taking place are unprecedented, particularly with respect to Generation z, and provide exciting opportunities as we look towards the future of marketing specifically, and our world more broadly.
I live in the Boston area with my wonderful husband, two incredible stepdaughters and our adopted cat. Life in a blended, multi-racial family with two Gen Z children has made me develop a particular interest in the upcoming generation both from a professional and personal standpoint.
